Sound Wave Pendant Lamp

Alexey Danilin

Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Sound Wave Pendant Lamp by Alexey Danilin This collection turns sound into an object. Now people can not only hear the melody, but also see and touch it. During the development, the musical composition of Claude Debussy "Prelude No. 3, Wind on the Plain" was first chosen. After that, the music was turned into an image of a sound wave using a special program. It became the basis for the silhouette of the lamp. However, the changes were made to it in order to optimize the design for light properties and requirements for mass production. In the lamp, the elements are put on top of each other to get rid of the glass fasteners.
